Chief Financial Officer China
Xiamen, China
Our client is a successful worldwide leading manufacturer from Europe with a factory with more than 50 employees in Xiamen. To further support their successful expansion in China, we are looking for a Chief Financial Officer for their China operations including manufacturing, sourcing and sales. Work location is the factory in Xiamen.

- Responsible for all accounting related operations: financial accounting and reporting, budgeting, payroll, general ledger, A/P, A/R, tax accounting, risk management, audit etc.
- Monthly and yearly financial statements and reports in accordance with the defined accounting principles (IFRS as well as local Chinese Standard)
- Prepare all supporting information for the annual audit and liaise with the external auditors as necessary
- Manage cash flow, bookkeeping, maintain financial and accounting system, develop policies and procedures
- Oversee all payroll functions to ensure that employees are paid timely
- Budget and forecast, and prepare the annual budget in consultation with the Managing Director and the Board of Directors of the company
- Lead and manage a small financial and admin team of about 5 staff, report to Managing Director in China and the CFO in European HQ
Requirements
- University Degree in finance, accounting or business administration
- Accountant license is required
- Good knowledge of local and IFRS accounting principles, as well as Chinese law and regulations
- At least 8 years work experience in finance and accounting for international companies in China, thereof at least 3 years as Finance Manager of a manufacturing company with local sales in China
- Management experience in similar position such as Finance Manager or Finance Director
- IT literacy, extensive experience in use of SAP and Microsoft Office
- High leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, team-player
- Communicates and presents in a clear, precise and structured way
- Excellent in English and Chinese (also in reading and writing)
